Kaira Hair Care is a family-run business with deep roots in Ayurveda and natural healing. Our journey began with a heartfelt mission led by our founder, lovingly known as "Simple Auntie," who at the age of 52, decided to put her extensive knowledge of Ayurveda into action. Alongside her husband, Girish, this Gujarati business duo took on the challenge of creating an all-natural solution to common hair and scalp issues.

Our story starts in Ahmedabad, India, where our family faced many ups and downs in the world of business. After moving to the United States seven years ago, we continued to pursue the American Dream, using our heritage and traditions to solve modern-day problems. When our son began struggling with severe scalp flakiness and itchiness while living abroad in Chicago, and after conventional treatments failed, Simple Auntie formulated a natural remedy using her Ayurveda expertise. The results were nothing short of magical, sparking a new venture that grew from a personal solution into a flourishing business.

At Kaira, our mission is to spread the wisdom of Ayurveda, helping as many people as possible discover the power of natural ingredients to restore hair health and confidence. Our products are inspired by ancient Indian science, designed to tackle hair problems from the inside out. GIRISH DARJI, Age 59, Co-Founder:

A lifelong entrepreneur and the backbone of Kaira’s operations, he oversees all manufacturing and production in India with precision and care. From raw material sourcing to small-batch manufacturing, his dedication ensures that Kaira maintains its high standards of quality and efficiency.

DISHANT DARJI, Age 29, Co-Founder:

With a strong background in Finance, he combines analytical precision with drive for entrepreneurial ventures. He is the brain behind Kaira. Managing all U.S. operations and overseeing the company’s finances, he ensures efficiency at every step. He leads Kaira’s digital presence, optimizing Shopify for a seamless customer experience and running impactful Instagram ad campaigns.
